QUANTITY: 2 FULL SETS (each set is 4 corner brackets total). Enough to make two complete beds. DESIGN: HORIZON (cut out pattern). Original cardboard packaging - somewhat dusty and beat up, but product is fine. Very easy to assemble and allows you to make a raised bed very quickly. Just find some locally obtained wood and some soil and you are ready to plant. Allows you to decide on the overall length and width of your bed, catering to your customized needs and / or space limitations.

Accepts standard 2 boards (2x4, 2x6, 2x8, 2x10, 2x12). Size of each corner is 11" x 13". Very classy and timeless design by gardener / artist Jill Plum. Very durable, heavy gauge steel will last for years. A natural patina rust will coat the outer surface over time, permanently sealing the metal underneath.

Other styles and colors available. MADE IN THE USA - PLEASE NOTE: For added tightness at at the corners, a toenail is recommended at each. UNFINISHED UNITS: will slowly rust over time developing a unique patina that will seal in and protect the underlying steel. Some units already have a partially rusted surface and are well on their way to be fully encased in an attractive patina.

Recommendations: Metal hardware mesh underneath to control burrowing critters, landscape cloth underneath to control weeds (extend 6" outwards), 2x8" for bottom row of wood and 2x6 for top row - this is what we do for our personal beds. For beds longer than 8 feet we suggest a middle cross bar for added support (prevents bowing outwards).

Our personal beds are 4 x 12' and work well for us - we do have middle cross bars at both levels. To keep everything extra tight, we add toenails at each corner (top level only).
